The OxyGuard Model 420 Oxygen Probe combines
the proven performance of the OxyGuard
Stationary probe with modern electronic technology.
Built into the probe is a two-wire 4-20
mA loop-powered transmitter. The probe produces a galvanically
isolated 4 to 20 mA output proportional to the oxygen concentration
of the medium in which it is placed. This capability permits
the Model 420 to communicate directly with any processing
, monitoring or control equipment which accepts a standard
4-20mA input.
Examples include display indicators, alarms,
data loggers and PC systems with A/D input boards. Because
the output is galvanically isolated, any number of probes
can be installed in the same water circuit without the risk
of ground loop interference.
